Sample Itinerary
Over ten days, the journey unfolds from the countryside and baroque towns of Ragusa and Modica to the ancient history, beaches, and coastal life of Syracuse and Ortigia.
Day 1
Arrival in Sicily
The first day is kept easy: time to arrive, settle in, and let everyone find their footing. That evening, the families meet over a relaxed Sicilian welcome dinner.
Day 2
Castles, Farms & Hilltop Towns
Donnafugata brings history to life through grand rooms, gardens, and stories, while time at a local farm offers a glimpse of Sicily still closely connected to the land. Pizza in Ragusa Ibla ends the day on an easy note.
Day 3
Beach Time & Cooking Together
The day belongs to the sea, with no schedule beyond enjoying it together. Later, Priscilla welcomes everyone into the kitchen for an experience designed to be as joyful as the dinner that follows.
Day 4
Modica & Chocolate
Modica is explored with curiosity and appetite: a leisurely lunch, a small train through town, and chocolate traditions with plenty to delight both children and adults. A farm dinner completes the day.
Day 5
Countryside at Leisure
Nothing is required today. The villa, pool, and countryside are yours, giving every family the freedom to rest, play, and settle into a rhythm of their own.
Day 6
Toward Syracuse
The journey turns toward Syracuse and the sea. Once settled, an easy walk through Ortigia introduces its lively streets, waterfront, and unmistakable island atmosphere.
Day 7
Ancient Syracuse
Ancient Syracuse becomes a stage for imagination, with its Greek Theatre and archaeological stories bringing the distant past vividly into the present.
Day 8
A Day on the Water
A private day on the water creates room for swimming, discovery, and the simple pleasure of being together under the Sicilian sun.
Day 9
Beach, Wine Country & Celebration
Beach time gives way to a leisurely lunch in wine country. That evening, the final family dinner celebrates ten days of shared discoveries, and the memories travelling home with you.
Day 10
Departure
One last breakfast together, followed by farewells and your private departure transfer.

PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS
Expect regular walking through historic towns and cultural sites, often on uneven stone streets, with stairs and periods of standing. Some days include boats, rural properties, or archaeological areas. Designed for children ages 3–17; activities are adapted so siblings of different ages can enjoy together.
DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
Sicily’s cuisine is diverse and naturally accommodates various dietary requirements. Should you have specific needs, we are happy to accommodate you. Upon booking you will be prompted to inform us in advance regarding any dietary restrictions and food allergies.
WHAT TO PACK
When packing for your trip to Sicily, consider the time of year and expected weather, which can be temperate and unpredictable. Dress for comfort with versatile layers and lightweight cotton for daytime and a sweater or jacket for cooler evenings or higher elevations. A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.
